East Coast Metal Systems Team Completes 10 Week Sales Training Course

East Coast Metal System’s estimating and sales team completed a ten-week sales training course presented by the Sales Transformation Group. The course was shaped around tools that help companies attract new customers, maintain relationships with present and past customers, and learn new ways to increase closing rates. One of the sections of the course focused on the individual and while the team as a whole is important, it is only as strong as each player. This aspect of the course helped our team see the importance of taking care of yourself, physically and mentally, and holding yourself to higher standards in order to perform your job to the best of your ability.

Vice President, John Trifonoff stated, “This course was great for our team, they were able to provide us with references that were easy to understand and follow. We have implemented some of their suggestions and plan to meet once a month as a group to discuss the new tactics and what we need to change or are seeing in the industry.” We look forward to seeing ECMS’s continued success!

East Coast Holds 3rd Annual REP Advisory Board Meeting

East Coast Metal Systems held its 3rd Annual independent sales representative advisory board meeting. The meeting went great and we received up-to-date feedback about what was going on in the industry from those who get to see all the different aspects every day. One topic that was covered that we can all relate to is how COVID-19 is changing the way things operate, especially for our representatives.

Another popular topic discussed was the large sales rep meeting at the beginning of October. After much consideration, it was decided to move forward in a modified manner. It will take place at East Coast Metal System’s office in Triadelphia, West Virginia, but will also be offered virtually for those who would rather not travel due to COVID-19. During this meeting, we will cover the ECMS basics.  This will include what we need to do to support each other in sales, vendor information, and install training information. The goal of the meeting is to add value to the day to day operations of our sales representatives with the hope to increase relationships and closing rates. We look forward to meeting the new reps as well as catching up with those who have been with us through the years!

ECMS Celebrates RMHC 165 Roofs!

Recently the Roofing Alliance, which is the foundation of the National Roofing Contractors Association, was approached with the opportunity to ‘adopt’ 165 individual roofs belonging to the homes of Ronald McDonald House Charities. On Saturday June 13th, the 165th day of the year, we celebrate the successful adoption of all 165 roofs!

East Coast Metal Systems, Inc. participated in the celebration as well. Other members of the Roofing Alliance offered multiple services including inspections, repairs, gutter cleaning and other preventative maintenance, provided items from their local RMHC Amazon Wishlist, or supported ‘Adopt a Night’, helping to subsidize a family’s stay at a Ronald McDonald House. We are honored to be part of such an impactful initiative and caring industry!

ECMS VP John Trifonoff to Speak at MCA Virtual Summer Meeting

East Coast Metal Systems Vice President, John Trifonoff, is set to speak at the Metal Construction Association’s Virtual Summer Meeting that will be held June 15-18th this year. Due to COVID-19, this year’s meeting will be held virtually. East Coast Metal Systems is a proud member of the MCA with Trifonoff serving on several committees.

Trifonoff, Chairman of the MCM Alliance Marketing board, will be presenting the current MCM Alliance Marketing portion. As the times change, it is important for a business to adapt to new marketing and business tactics. He will be highlighting this importance as well as the significance of case studies, gallery photos, and will have a segment focused on social media that will help other companies with their marketing strategies. This organization is occupied by sheet manufacturers and fabricators, and we are proud to see our company represented at this event!
